Genuine Vision Plus | 25L Digital Microwave with Grill | 900W | Silver

Key specs at a glance

Figures come from Vision Plus's own product page for this model. Vision Plus also sells a 23 L grill microwave. Ask our team to confirm the exact model code, the grill power and the warranty of the unit you order.

What it's good at

The grill is the main reason to choose this over a solo microwave: it browns the top of dishes, crisps toast and grills chicken, which a plain microwave can't do. At 900 W, it also cooks faster than a 700 W model, and digital controls with auto programmes make everyday cooking easy.

What to know

A grill microwave isn't a full oven. It doesn't bake cakes the way a convection oven does, and the grill element gets very hot, so use oven gloves and a suitable rack or dish. At 25 litres, it needs more counter space than a 20 L model.

Is this the right size

A 25 L microwave suits a household of two to five people and fits a standard dinner plate. If you only reheat and defrost, the 20 L Vision Plus microwave, also in our range, costs less.

Using a microwave safely

• Never use metal or foil in a standard microwave, and don't run it empty.
• Use microwave-safe containers. Glass and ceramic are good. Some plastics warp or leach.
• Stir and rest food. Microwaves heat unevenly, so stir halfway and let food stand before eating.
• Pierce or vent foods with skins, such as eggs, potatoes and sausages, so they don't burst.
• Use a voltage guard. Power fluctuations can damage the electronics.
• Leave space around it. Keep air gaps at the back and sides for ventilation.

Who it's for

Families who want to reheat and grill.

Households that make toast, pizza and grilled meat.

Buyers who want digital controls and a grill.

How it compares

The Vision Plus 20 L solo microwave, also in our range, has no grill and costs less. The Hisense 25 L grill microwave, also in our range, is a comparable alternative.
