A phone at every price, the best screens in the business, and foldables that actually work.
Samsung is the most widely used Android brand in Kenya, and the reason is range: it sells a capable phone at nearly every price point, from entry-level A-series up to the Galaxy S flagships and the Z foldables. It also makes its own displays and memory, which is why even mid-range Galaxy phones tend to have brighter, better screens than rivals at the same price.
The trade-off is a confusing line-up. The letter matters more than the number: S is flagship, A is mid-range, M is budget, Z is foldable. A higher number inside a cheaper series does not beat a lower number in a more expensive one.
Samsung has also committed to long Android and security update windows on its flagship and upper mid-range phones, which materially extends how long a Galaxy stays safe to use.
