WHOOP in Kenya
A screenless fitness tracker built around recovery, not notifications.
WHOOP deliberately has no screen. It is a band you wear continuously that measures strain, sleep and recovery, and reports it all to your phone. The idea is that the useful number is not how many steps you took, but whether your body is ready to train hard today.
That focus makes it popular with athletes and serious trainers, and much less suitable for someone who wants a watch. There are no notifications, no apps and nothing to look at on your wrist — which for many wearers is exactly the appeal.
Note the model: WHOOP is normally sold as a membership rather than a one-off purchase, so confirm what a listing includes before buying.

Next hardware generation
WHOOP updates hardware every few years and does not pre-announce. Rumour only.
Buy WHOOP only if you train seriously and will act on recovery data. If you want notifications, apps or a watch face, a Garmin, Apple Watch or Pixel Watch is the better purchase.
