EA Sports publishes the annual sports games that, for a large share of console owners in Kenya, are the reason to own a console at all. EA Sports FC — the football series formerly branded FIFA — remains the dominant local multiplayer title, and Ultimate Team is the mode most players spend their year in.
Because these titles are annual, the previous edition drops sharply in price once the new one lands. If you play mainly offline or in the same room as friends, last year's edition is usually the better purchase; online modes are where the current edition matters, since the player base migrates.
Check the platform carefully before buying — a PS5 disc will not run on a PS4, and vice versa.
